Sesame Street Takes Over 'Good Morning America' (VIDEO)

First Posted: 09/20/11 10:39 AM ET Updated: 11/20/11 05:12 AM ET

"Good Morning America" got some furry new bosses on Tuesday morning.

As the show opened, George Stephanopoulos noted that there was some ruckus in the control room. Cut to none other than Grover and Elmo of "Sesame Street." Naturally, Grover was the one barking orders at everyone. Stephanopoulos (who is also famed for being in the same general family as Snuffleupagus) said that the Muppets would be sticking around for the rest of the show.

Of course, we have to ask: where's Kermit? Surely he has the deepest background in news of any Muppet.

Actually Grover does a lot of reporting on Sesame Street.

Kermit and Miss Piggy haven't been on Sesame St. for quite some time.

Dear author of this piece.
If this piece were actually fact checked, you would know that Kermit has not been on Sesame Street since Disney bought him & his other Muppet Show friends.
Sorry to disappoint.

If that were true, the content would increase ten-fold.
