Lower East Side Tenement Museum Naturalizes 18 Immigrants In New Visitor Center

Mr. Cohill was among 18 immigrants naturalized Tuesday in a ceremony at the Lower East Side Tenement Museum. The honorees came from 16 countries, including Japan, New Zealand, Bulgaria and Cameroon. Many of the countries with the highest concentration of naturalized citizens in the city — like China, India and the Dominican Republic — were also represented.
