Rose Byrne At Gotham Magazine Party: Love It Or Leave It? (PHOTOS, POLL)

Sometimes we see a less-than-flattering outfit and can't help but blurt out a snarky remark. Then there are the times that we see a less-than-flattering outfit and we simply have no words.

Such as the case with the lovely Rose Byrne, who stepped out last night in the most confusing, unfortunate get-up we've seen in a while.

The "Damages" actress was feted with co-star Glenn Close by Gotham Magazine, which featured the two stars on its latest cover.

Although the Gotham cover shows Byrne with long hair and a pretty purple and lace dress, the actress showed up to the party with a sort of bowl cut hairstyle with blunt bangs and a slinky Christine Alcalay dress made of contrasting red, neon yellow and brown paisley-esque fabrics.

To top it off, Rose went with a stark red lip and black ALDO heels.

We absolutely love Byrne, who had us laughing at her comedic chops (and envying her gorgeous looks) in "Bridesmaids." But this get-up is no laughing matter.

Print with Bold color combination is not for everyone but looks AMAZING on Rose Byrne. I love her new hair cut! LOVE everything about this except for the plain black pumps.

The cut and drape at the bottom throws it off. The clash of patterns is actually really nice, but they should have stopped at the red, the yellow just pushes it over the line. Love the shoes.
