ACL 2011: Kanye Says R.I.P. To The Black Eyed Peas (VIDEO)

In the midst of congratulating himself while headlining Austin City Limits last week, Kanye managed to stir up some rumors about the Black Eyed Peas. "Rest in peace to the Black Eyed Peas," he went. "You'll be missed." Right, well, turns out most people took that phrase exactly the way it sounded. As in, the Black Eyed Peas are finished, and not just on an "indefinite break," as Fergie put it this July. But this is Kanye! Everything he says is slightly wrong, like a beautiful slant rhyme. Will.i.am took to his Twitter machine to straighten things out: "maybe @kanyewest was stating the fact that we will take a rest for a little bit...but we the @bep will never die...never...impossible."

Next week on Master'ye Theater: Kanye says something. But he didn't mean it like that! Stay tuned!
