Beyonce Pregnant Style: Sequin Mini Dress! (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

Since announcing her pregnancy on the MTV VMA red carpet, Beyonce has eschewed the typically frumpy maternity wardrobe of pregnant women everywhere (case in point: this white bikini-with-belly chain ensemble).

Instead, Beyonce's preferred maternity get-ups have included lots and lots sequins.

Yesterday the star unveiled her new fragrance, Pulse, in New York wearing a navy sequined blazer with a very, very short blue sequin dress (so short, in fact, we were worried we might get the bottom view of her baby bump).

Beyonce looked great, of course (because when does she not?). It's only one of many sparkly numbers Mrs. Jay-Z has donned since debuting her bump.

She went with a peachy sequin wrap dress to attend the New York Fashion Week J. Crew Spring 2012 presentation, she wore a dangerously low-cut black sequin blazer at her mother's House of Dereon show at London Fashion Week (where we thought we might glimpse her bump from the top angle) and she most famously chose a purple sequin tuxedo jacket by Dolce & Gabbana to perform on the VMA stage the night of the big reveal.

Beyonce, I'm a recent fan but a really huge one. I had looked your site and videos and fell in love with the ring song. I always told my husband that I had made the decision that if he did not propose within a year I was going to move on. All he kept saying until now was that I could not live without him. I showed him the video and the rat said he would have married me sooner if I could dance like the girls LOL. You look beautiful and happy, I admire your husband immensely and wish you both love and Prayers.

She looks pretty--and very sparkly and luminous. I just love Beyonce. I have to confess that her music's not my thing, but she's a beautifully mannered, ladylike young woman, which I admire tremendously. She's also married to the father of her child, which makes me happy, too. I think she's a good celebrity role model.

I barely knew who she was before she announced her pregancy and HuffPost went wild posting articles about her. But now that I am taking a look, she is a very beautiful woman.

Why don't ALL the people that don't care about her or her music stop looking at these stories if you have nothing positive to say? Would it be too hard to keep our mouths shut when we can't bee nice? This is basic stuff that should have been learned by now. I just don't see what the harm is of passing over an article or pictures if your sooo tired of hearing about someone or a certain subject. Hate and ugliness is a cancer that is growing out of control in our society. Then we wonder why the kids are bullies and are so angry and hateful.

First of all, its not the top of her pantyhose that's showing. The dress has a sheer layer that goes over the sequins and its a little bit longer, so it hangs down a little. I understand it may create the "illusion" of pantyhose, but maybe if you looked a tad bit closer before posting your comments saying "ugh" and "trashy" you would have realized it. Second of all, pregnancy is a beautiful thing. Lots of women wear 2 piece bathing suits, and even shirts that completely expose their stomach because they find it beautiful and they're proud of it. She's wearing a short dress. Oh my gosh, its the end of the world. Shut up you prudes.

The dress is cute but way to short. I noticed the top of her panty hose and that is not cute. Wear more appropriate clothes Beyonce. Everybody is following you around so makie it classy!!!

Beyonce is way too big,and not bc she's preggers,to be wearing a shirt as a dress.And when your "jacket" is longer than your skirt or dress,unless it's a coat,it's an awful look as well as a schlocky fashion faux pas. With all their money and access to help, she could do a lot better.But she's so over rated anyway.
