In honor of the London Design Festival at York Hall, designer Aamu Song has created an immersive theatrical experience out of a 550 meter red dress. The piece, titled "REDDRESS," weaves together performer and audience in the seams of the Kvadrat wool, and the same fabric that flows out from the Britten Sinfonia singer's bodice also rests underneath the viewers' feet. The performers, the audience, the stage: they are all part of the performance. "Reddress" will house--or, should we say, clothe--musical performances throughout the Design Festival.
