Anna Wintour On Silvio Berlusconi: 'I Am Disgusted'

Anna Wintour Hates On Silvio Berlusconi

It's commonly known fact that Silvio Berlusconi, Italy's prime minister, is a fairly despicable human being, especially where women (especially German heads of state) are involved.

While many put up with Berlusconi's antics, Anna Wintour is not having any of it.

On Berlusconi's home turf for Milan Fashion Week, the Vogue editor-in-chief gave an interview to Italian newspaper La Repubblica and had this to say about the embattled prime minster, according to Women's Wear Daily:

"I am disgusted. I have no other words. I am disgusted and embarrassed: How can Italy tolerate Silvio Berlusconi and his bevy of girls?”

Berlusconi, if you hadn't heard the news, is essentially the worst thing to happen to Italian women since... well, maybe ever. The politico is famous for his "bunga bunga" sex parties, paying women for sex, engaging with underage girls, bribery and calling his nation a "shit country."

So kudos to Wintour, who told La Repubblica that she'd like to see women protesting the streets of Italy this fashion week and called Berlusconi's current rule "a dictatorship."

If only she knew that Berlusconi also wears bronzer and guy-liner. His offenses are truly beyond forgiveness.
