Adults can play a hand of poker or blackjack in the Casino Royale. The Serenade also features a British-style pub called the Colony Club that has self-leveling pool tables.

, the Serenade of the Seas offers standard ocean-view staterooms and family ocean-view staterooms. The family ocean-view option sleeps up to six people. Deluxe ocean-view staterooms have private balconies.

The Serenade of the Seas offers a voyage for every budget. A seven-night cruise around Dubai may cost as little as $499 per person for an inside stateroom and $999 per person for a suite. However, a 12-night Mediterranean Venetian cruise can cost as much as $1,799 per person for an inside stateroom and $4,499 per person for a suite.
Excursions
One Serenade of the Seas passenger -- a parent with two teenage children -- recommended the Harrison Cave and Beach Tour on Barbados on
. Jeeps take passengers to the Harrison caves, where everyone gets to ride a tram through massive rock formations. Then the jeeps reload and drive through the river forest and the east coast of the island near Bathsheba to explore the rock formations and look out over the Atlantic Ocean. This excursion gave the family a great overview of the island.
Dining Experience
The main dining room on the Serenade of the Seas is called Reflections. The restaurant features a two-level waterfall. Buffet dining is available in the Windjammer restaurant, which becomes the Seaview restaurant in the evening. Chops Grille is a premium steakhouse on board.
Maiden Voyage
The Serenade of the Seas made its maiden voyage on Aug. 1, 2003. The ship's "godmother" is actress Whoopi Goldberg.
