Tareq Salahi Files For Divorce, Propositions Cameron Diaz

Tareq Salahi filed for divorce from his cheating wife, Michaele, only days ago and he already has his sights set on a new lady: Cameron Diaz.

“I’ve always had the hots for Cameron Diaz,” Salahi told me on the set of my HDNet show, "Naughty But Nice With Rob." “Everyone is telling me that I’m better off without Michaele. I’ve been through a lot of different emotions, from sadness to anger to confidence. And I would say that strength and confidence is coming back -- the old Tareq. I’m going to move forward. I’m excited about the future.”

Salahi said he first met Diaz on a flight with his wife. They chatted about the best places to go to keep a low celebrity profile -- Thailand, he said, is one of the best. At the time, Salahi didn’t pursue anything with the actress because he thought he was a happily married man.

Now, however, “My wife has become a different person,” Salahi says. “At this point, I think the next time I’ll see her is at the divorce trial. I’ll likely not talk to her. I know she’s such a different person. She’s been lying to me. That’s over. I don’t really want to talk about her anymore.”

Something tells me he will, though.
