PHOENIX -- Arizona police have arrested a 14-year-old boy for allegedly posting online comments about his plans to shoot up his school and then commit suicide.

Maricopa County Sheriff's spokesman Jesse Spurgin says the boy who was planning the shooting at Wigwam Creek Middle School in Litchfield Park was arrested at his house after a person who saw his comments on YouTube alerted police.

No guns were found on the boy, but investigators were serving a search warrant at his home.

Spurgin says the boy was arrested on suspicion of interfering with a school and threatening and intimidating.

His name isn't being released.

Sheriff's deputies were posted at the school as a precaution.

The school wasn't put on lockdown.
