Anna Wintour Invited Nicki MInaj To Carolina Herrera Fashion Show

We were shocked when the tacky-attired Nicki Minaj was spotted sitting next to the always-chic Anna Wintour during Carolina Herrera's Spring 2011 on September 12. Clutching our pearls, we could only imagine the what the editrix was thinking as the two sat pom-pom to shoulder. But, this unlikely encounter was no mistake.

According to The New York Daily News, Minaj revealed that Wintour personally invited her to the show. Gasp! Who knew that Wintour was a fan of the "Super Bass" singer? And with allegations of design plagiarism, the U.S. Vogue editor-in-chief is just the kind of friend Minaj needs.

In addition, Wintour sent a handwritten note on a copy of the odd couple's front-row snapshot that reads: "We match!"

Not exactly--but Wintour's printed frock could be seen as more refined version of Minaj's mosaic monster-piece, right?

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery! Gaga used Madonna and David Bowie, she told an interviewer. Rob Zombie says Alice Cooper was his inspiration. The list is endless...The Beatles - Buddy Holly on down the road. Every artist has an inspiration and now a days you hear clips from songs converted into new pop songs all the time and its funny the people listening have no idea! I heard a Pink song that used parts a Sprit song from the 70s called "Fresh Garbage" I was playing the original song and My kids said "I didn't know you liked Pink?" The youngsters think the song "My Girl" was introduced in the Movie film "My Girl" (Dan Akroyd) and "Unchained Melody" was introduced with the Movie "Ghost" with Patric Swayze! I like Gaga better then Nickii and I when to see Gaga but skipped Nickii because Nickii doesn't have much of a solo act but Gaga had a huge show. Anyway if you were to start a band today your music, no matter how original, would be inspired from somewhere that you established your taste in music. No one develops musical taste from thin air.

There are many pop fans accusing Minaj as ripping off Lady GaGa and another group of rap and hip-hop fans who accuse her of being a Lil' Kim clone.

I don't see how someone can be both! Lady GaGa and Lil' Kim aren't two artists I think of when I think of artists with similarities.
