As if getting the cast fully reunited for the first time since the middle of last decade wasn't enough, "Arrested Development" creator Mitch Hurwitz on Sunday dropped the long anticipated bomb that the unjustly cancelled cult classic TV comedy would be coming back for more episodes and a movie.

Once he made that announcement, at Sunday's New Yorker Festival, he got into some specifics. "Where everyone’s been for five years became a big part of the story," he said, detailing the obstacles and opportunities he's faced while trying to pick back up the threads dropped when the show was cancelled. "So in working on the screenplay, I found even if I just gave five minutes per character to that back story, we were halfway through the movie before the characters got together."

As such, he plans to lead into the movie with 9-10 new episodes, one per character, tracing their last five years. And as he discussed a few ideas that he had -- Buster would be the subject of Harvard lab experiments, Maeby the love interest of professor Cornel West -- it also offered up the opportunity to explore what has come of each of the show's big stars since the final episode in 2006.

And so, a Bluth edition of "Where Are They Now":
