NeNe Leakes Restaurant: Real Housewife Of Atlanta To Open Famous Famiglia Franchise

Usually, when a tabloid connects one of Bravo's Real Housewives to food, it's because she's not eating enough of it. So far, the one exception has been Teresa Giudice, who seized on the minor fame she won as a Real Housewife of New Jersey to write a cookbook -- and it's not like her tome, Skinny Italian, reveled in the pleasures of bone marrow and fried chicken.

But the unfortunate dearth of gastronomically-inclined Housewives may soon be ending. Last week, NeNe Leakes, best known for her high-drama stint as a Real Housewife of Atlanta, took to Twitter to announce the imminent opening of her new restaurant in Sacramento, CA.

If you're thinking it'll be a typical, glitzy celebrity-owned restaurant, though, think again. Instead, NeNe is opening a franchise of Famous Famigilia Pizzeria in the Sacramento Airport. The branch will start serving pizza and pasta this Thursday, October 6th, one month before the premiere of the fourth season of Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Even if we set the aside the immense, general weirdness of a Real Housewife of Atlanta opening a branch of Famous Famiglia in the Sacramento Airport, huge questions remain. Will NeNe eat her pizza and pasta, given her history of cutting carbs to lose weight? If Donald Trump finds himself in the Sacramento Airport, will he be able to forgive NeNe for quitting Celebrity Apprentice, given his well-known love of Famous Famiglia's pizza? Has NeNe secretly been living in the Sacramento Airport since she was evicted from her Atlanta home in 2008?

The mind reels. But if you visit the Sacramento Famous Famiglia, let us know whether or not there is any sign of NeNe's involvement.

It's amazing how NeNe "stans" come to her defense when she's criticized for her unconscientable behavior. NeNe "kept it real" in Season 1 of Housewives and Season 1 ONLY. Understand, NeNe was low on the food chain at the time. Fast forward to Season 4, throw in some party appearances, an unsuccessful book, a foundation, and an invite to Celebrity Apprentice and jealousy ensues. Kandi, has been successful in the music industry since she was 17 (now 35), Phaedra, is an entertainment attorney who boasts FOUR degrees, Kim, has managed to live high on the hog (off other people's money,) Cynthia is a successfull runway model/modeling school owner, and Sheree...I don't know where her money comes from other than Bravo, child support and bookings. BUT I DIGRESS. As for the restaurant, I'm guessing she was approached to "invest" in the pizzeria. If she is the sole proprietor, she'd better move to Sacramento. She would need to be "hands on" if she wishes this venture to be successful. 'Investing" in vs owning/running a restaurant are TWO different animals. I hope she evaluated the cost-benefit analysis. NeNe is truly delusional and the poster child for "letting fame go to your head." This "po chile" is on a downward spiral. Here's my advice: The same people you saw going UP, you'll see coming DOWN. Humility is key. As for all her stans ready to "come for me," DON'T BOTHER. I speak TRUTH. Take your blinders off... PLEASE!!

Once again this Ms. Run her mouth has got it wrong! If NeNe leaves or is re-placed I will not be watching yet another Real Housewives show! NY sucks, and now NJ is to slow and by them putting Teresa's Ass of a Sis-N-Law on has made it to sick for me! I have been looking forward to this one and say all you want about NeNe, but she makes the show! People need to stop being all green and mean..I don't blame NeNe for leaving the Celebrity Apprentice, Trump was wrong and he knows it, He gave into Star, Why, I will never know. If you're not counting Lisa Vanderpump?
