Caroline Manzo, Jacqueline Laurita Leaving 'Real Housewives Of New Jersey'

UPDATE: Bravo maintains that no decisions about the cast have been made: "Bravo is not firing anyone from ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey' ... All five cast members will be featured on season four. No decisions have been made about season five at this time," a Bravo spokesperson said.

PREVIOUSLY: Just weeks after we broke the news that Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon and Alex McCord were fired from "The Real Housewives of New York," we can exclusively reveal that Bravo is discussing making some big changes with the cast of the New Jersey "Housewives" franchise, cutting both Jacqueline Laurita and Caroline Manzo from the show.

"Jacqueline and Caroline were told months ago that they wouldn't be returning for a fifth Season if they didn't bring the drama," a network insider tells me. "This season has been dominated by Melissa [Gorga] and Teresa [Giudice] drama and season four, that they are filming right now, is going to be no different."

Manzo, who has served as the voice of reason among the group since day one, has always refused to be involved in any of the set up drama that has translated into huge ratings for the show. Similarly, Laurita's entire story line, which involved her troubles with her daughter Ashley, has disappeared following Ashley's departure from the show.

"Producers have been showing all the ladies private footage of what they have all been saying behind each others' backs hoping to bring Jacqueline and Caroline into the drama," an insider tells me. "But so far, they have kept their cool on camera and saved the drama for Twitter, not TV."

Laurita also refused to attend the reunion taping for the season currently airing, further hurting her chances of being invited back after she completes the next three weeks of filming for the upcoming season.

"Jacqueline refused to come out of her house the day of the reunion taping," an insider tells me. "Bravo's car sat in the driveway all day and she just refused to leave her home even if it meant she was violating her contract."

However, unlike the fired New York ladies, this parting appears to be mutual. Manzo's sister and Laurita's sister-in-law, Dina Manzo, told me just a few weeks ago that other women currently on the show were not having fun anymore and might follow her lead and say goodbye.

Get out now with your heads held high, ladies! This is about to get ugly.

After the way all the women treated Danielle, I felt so happy when the tables were turned on Theresa and Caroline. Karma is a b***h. The only sincere person on that show was Jacquleline, and posssibly Cathy. Good riddance to the bully and "the holier than thou" Caroline Manzo.

Now we are down to 2. They just finished taping season 4. Obviously it will be more gang up mean girl bashing --this way the world will despise the mean girls and they will go the way Jill Zarin went. Out of a job. Wonder if Caroline bullies her children. They act afraid of her.

Bravo sure is messing with families and friends on this show. But you get to see who your real enemies are cause they will sell you up the river for this show and the money it pays so you see who is really the brainless traitor. Bravo's puppets as they go away with their tails between their legs.

I will have to say Teresa handled the bullies well.

All I can say is A lady knows when to leave. She apparently has had enough. She might be concerned about her family.. ie: whose hurt, who needs support. Mama may need to come home and get out of the limelight. I commend her. If its time, hey, its time. America will survive. Caroline. She gave enough.All posts who cry 'boredom' Caroline bores us, Hell with um. She refuses to feed American TV more ammunition.. . Her husband and her have it all. A relationship that is tight. Again, a Lady knows when to leave.

The whole season started off with the christening. Joe G. getting drunk, out of control, and insulting his sister. He then shouted at his sick father about not being the center of his father's universe. All this, and it becomes Teresa's fault there was a fiasco. From that point on Teresa was the bad guy. The whole bunch played who loves who the most, all season. Not one knows how to listen to the other guy. Caroline simpering over her wonderful kids got to be nauseating. They are not that wonderful. Jacqueline should have knocked her brat Ashley, on her butt. All the non-essential side-liners, and their stories, were boring. I don't think I'll be watching next season, if something drastic is not done.

I see this season was way out of bounds and I think there's a lot of Teresa haters and when you see her side of the story it doesn't seem so far fetched to know why she's acting like that. I feel sympathy for her bc her husband is unstable and overaggressive and obviously foolish. Her cousin Cathy and sister in law have ganged up against her. Caroline is bullish and self righteous towards her. Her whole family was a hot mess. I hope they can get it together as a family and be good to one another. As far as Caroline leaving, good@! she's "too good" for the show. I guess she's reached a higher ground. LOL! not. I wouldn't pay a nickle for any of her advice. I will miss Jacqueline though its too bad she let Caroline control her. Caroline controls her entire family except oh wait....Dina! Way to go Dina, don't let the bull run you down. You go girl. Miss you though.

I wish that I could enjoy Teresa and her misbehavior the way some people do. The way she makes up stuff to make the other women look bad and herself seem to be the victim The way her oldest daughter had an emotional meltdown at the family party and Teresa keeps causing the same problems that created the child's meltdown, and the way her husband looks ready to have a stroke...his awful grayish purple color and the hostile expressions on his face. Oh, and I almost forgot...they way she allowed the brattiest of her daughters to put her butt on the food shelves and counters at the grocery store.

It's hard to watch this family and even harder for me to admire it.

PROUD Jersey Girl here to set the record straight. First of all, Teresa is gorgeous and outrageous, that is why people love to watch her. Most of the silly crap she says and does is for ratings, so honestly, who are the critical dumb ones here? Second of all, Caroline used to be on target with her comments but is stale to say the least. Jacqueline needs to "BE HER OWN PERSON", like she says in the show opening. It is obvious she doesnt know how to do that because she clings to whomever seems to fit at the moment. Kathy needs to stick to her cousins side and show some loyalty. Stop throwing knives its only making her look jealous. Melissa......well, with that body I suppose she could get away with being a tart.
SO TIRED of people trashing JERSEY. Oh, and by the way Caroline, its not swamp lands its called MARSH or wetlands, something you would know if you were as SMART as you portray. Bring Dina back, she was gorgeous, sweet and smart. Keep Teresa, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her!
All the Jersey haters.....thats just fine, while your hating Jersey keep in mind to stay the hell out of our state. Thank you very much.

I can't believe that Bravo would consider cutting Caroline from this show. She provides a wonderful balance to the hysterics of other members. She comes off as someone I'd like to have as a friend. Someone with a lot of good sense. Keep her on.......

I don't care what anyone says, I love Jacqueline. She is very likable. And who doesn't love Caroline?! They may not bring the drama but if you have the entire cast fighting 24/7 it will be a repeat of RHONY and three of them got fired for being too dramatic!

WHO CARES!! These are the shows that should be taken off of TV. Jersey Shore, ANY Housewives, teen mom, kardashians, kendra anything, mtv house, big brother, basketball wives and any of these other so called "reality" shows. they are a waste of time and they confuse young people into believing it's ok to act like an idiot and have no brain to think with!

Young children should sit around watching all the violent, bloody, full of visual sex shoes that are all over prime time? Reality TV is tame compared to some of the stuff our kids are subjected to. Parents control the remote control. Besides, what child would spend 5 minutes watching any of the Housewives shows? Those shows are geared for adults.

Honestly it not only makes NJ women look bad, but all women in general. It has long been said that women are spiteful, disloyal, and catty... these women bring it to the small screen each week. ALL of them. And then they added Greg who goes for the jugular with each comment. So I just quit watching it. Maybe the 5th season will be something to see.

TV Producer Gods Do you mean to tell me having two women on the show that has class and gives the show the same would be dropped???? I have seriously lost interest in the show having to put up with Teresa she is a nut and needs to tone it down ..is she for real if so get rid of her . You think watching her take her children shopping at grocery store and watch that spoiled brat do her thing is something any senseable person would tune in for. And her brother need to be profiled and added to local law enforcement file for watching. He a nut also. You make your decisions and see the backfire Zero ratings we are not all stupid out here and know how to turn the tv off as I have. When Caroline goes so do her two son and husband that show the world how a family should act. I still cannot believe you are ditching the two most sane and enjoyable to watch and keeping the ignorant one you have to be forming. The show needs some real housewives and a touch of the nut cakes. I know I am not the only one who feels this way.
