The United Nations High Commissioner For Refugees recognized Angelina Jolie's decade of service as an ambassador and gave her the honor of presenting the Nansen Refugee Award at the Geneva event, Pop Sugar reported.
"I want to express my goodwill tonight to UNHCR for appointing me their Goodwill Ambassador 10 years ago and for trusting me with the job," Jolie said.
While serving as an ambassador, Jolie has traveled to more than 20 countries to work with refugees and noted that opportunity affords her the chance to address a range of issues, from cancer, to abuse to children's issues.
