Ann Coulter: Occupy Wall Street Protesters Are Like Nazis (VIDEO)

Ann Coulter

Ann Coulter made some rather surprising analogies on Monday when she compared the Occupy Wall Street movement to Nazism and the French Revolution.

Coulter was speaking to Fox Business' Eric Bolling, who seemed to share her less-than-charitable views of the protests, which have gained widespread attention and sparked similar demonstrations in cities across the U.S.

Bolling first quoted the protesters' use of the phrases, "demolition of capitalism" and "if we can learn to share we can all live in prosperity," and asked Coulter for her reaction. Coulter responded quickly that these terms could have been said right "before the French Revolution, the Russian Revolution, and with only slight modification when the Nazis were coming to power...This is always the beginning of totalitarianism."

Coulter also stated that the Democratic Party loves "mob uprising" as it is their "path to power" and that Democrats "always assume that the mob leaders will remain mob leaders and not end up like Maximilien Robespierre, beheaded a couple years after the revolution began, that is often the way revolutions go."

Done with her. She's old news. Anytime there is a group of folks she doesn't agree with she calls them Nazis. She has no imagination and nothing to actually contribute to the progress of this country. Pull the plug!

(Chuckling"....) Two winners here, Ann Coulter on the similarities between despots past and Glenn Beck's bullseye prediction of their arrival here in the USA.

Nazi promises/platform:

“Every citizen shall have the possibility of living decently and earning a livelihood.â€

“All unearned income, and all income that does not arise from work, be abolished.â€

“Total confiscation of all war profits.â€

“Nationalization of all trusts.â€

“Profit-sharing in large industries.â€

“Increase in old-age pensions.â€

“Communalization of large stores which will be rented cheaply to small tradespeople.â€

“A law to expropriate the owners without compensation of any land needed for the common purpose.â€

“The abolition of ground rents, and the prohibition of all speculation in land.â€

“Usurers, profiteers, etc., are to be punished with death, regardless of creed or race.â€

“The State must assume the responsibility of organizing thoroughly the entire cultural system of the people.â€

“Specially talented children of poor parents, whatever their station or occupation, be educated at the expense of the State.â€

“COMMON GOOD BEFORE INDIVIDUAL GOOD.â€

So the American Nazi Party endorsed Occupy Wall Street. Why no Huffington Post article? Had it endorsed the Tea Party instead I'm sure it would have made front page.

Everything this woman says is twisted 180 degrees. These people would have been shot where they stand once the Nazis came to power. She enumerates her list of bad revolutions and skips right over the American Revolution. The root cause of which was the profits from the speculation and labor taking place in this country being allocated to a cabal in another country.

That interview was totally irrelevant. What a waste...& the kids they interviewed were the dimmest ones they could find, so easy to ridicule. They sought out the least informed, obviously.

Um, hate to inform you that the majority of the NYC & Philadelphia OWS protesters are exactly the same or only mildly altered from these "dim ones." The average NYC protester is 19, lives with mom & dad (or w/ mom during the week & weekends with daddy), never had, nor will have a job they will need to work at to keep as the trust fund life is a cozy life, are in the throes of being addicted to one or more chemicals, is impeccably dressed in designer/brand named clothes & shoes & are totally bogged down with extremely pricey electronics. They are far from the 1%ers they claim to be. They are of the sort who wear Che Guevera T shirts while shopping at Whole Foods for organic, hand massaged baby spinach. Don't believe me or the others who laugh at this farce: take a trip & see for yourself! Oh silly me, maybe you can't do so as you are among the real 1%ers that can't just take a road trip at the drop of a hat? The MSM outlets, be it local network, CNN, MSNBC, etc. have to tread softly with reporting because the stories may affect their ad revenues or stomp on the toes of the corporations that OWN them! Try reading about OWS in foreign press to get a real, balanced view & believe me: it ain't perty!

Ironic how she mentions the French Revolution since America actually had some slight involvement(Thomas Jefferson bought the Louisiana Territory from Napoleon Bonaparte during the French Revolution, helping finance Napoleon's war)
03:20 PM on 10/16/2011
The Louisiana Purchase was 11 after the French Revolution. Napoleon took control from the Directory in a military coup in 1799 overthrowing the Constitutional Government and being installed as First Consul. He was proclaimed Emperor of France in 1804. The Louisiana Purchase was primarily a reaction to the arrival of French troops in New Orleans after Spain sold it back to France in 1801 to quell the fears of southern slaveholders and prevent war with France. It had nothing to do with material or philosophical support for the Revolution.

That said there is no reason whatever to listen to anything Ann Coulter says.

Why is it that half the time Ann Coulter uses the Nazis as an example of something bad to compare liberals to, and the other half she praises them as her personal inspiration and her heroes that she looks up to? Make up your mind, Ann Coulter! They're either good or bad! You can't have it both ways!

Typical, shoot the messenger and meanwhile your lib hero's like Obama and Moore received contributions from the very organizations that you allegedly despise? Obama has indeed received the most campaign contributions of any POTUS in history. Do some research first and see for yourselves...

What's wrong with this picture? Other than being sold out by your own people before you protest I mean...
09:37 PM on 10/15/2011
Many #ows protestors are just as mad at Obama as they are against the banks that got him elected... I dont see your point.

Why this mishegana gets all this attention is a mystery. All she is is a political Paris Hilton. Just don't call her a shiksa.
