Vampire Tour Of San Francisco
For history buffs, Bram Stoker fans and Twilight-crazed teens, the Vampire Tour of San Francisco is the perfect way to experience the city's Nob Hill neighborhood. The tour is held on Friday and Saturday nights and begins at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $20 for adults and $15 for students, seniors and groups of 10 or more people.

Nighttime Tour Of Alcatraz Island
Once the site of one of the world's most notorious prisons, eerie Alcatraz Island is said to be haunted by the ghosts of inmates who perished there. A guided tour of the crumbling cells and empty halls of "The Rock" is creepy enough -- but when the sun goes down, the fear factor goes up. Alcatraz Cruises offers a nighttime tour of the abandoned prison that includes a peek into the hospital ward, stories about infamous prisoners like Al Capone and maybe a ghost sighting or two. Departure times and ticket prices vary, and are subject to change.
