MLB Playoffs LIVE UPDATES:Tigers Vs. Yankees, Brewers Vs. Diamondbacks

MLB Playoffs: Live Updates

After Adrian Beltre helped the Texas Rangers punch their ticket to the ALCS on Tuesday afternoon, two more clubs look to advance in the evening.

In Detroit, Rick Porcello takes the ball for the Tigers, who hold a 2-1 series lead. The Yankees turn to beleaguered hurler A.J. Burnett as they hope to force the series to a winner-take-all fifth game in the Bronx. First pitch at Comerica Park is scheduled for 8:37 p.m. EST.

Out at Chase Field in Phoenix, the Diamondbacks are pinning their survival on the arm of rookie right-hander Josh Collmenter, who blanked the Brewers for 14 innings across two starts earlier this year. The Brew Crew looks to solve the rookie's funky delivery and celebrate tonight. First pitch in the desert is set for 9:30 p.m. EST.

With elimination games unfolding simultaneously across the country, could tonight bring anything near the level of excitement on the final day of the regular season?

Stay tuned here for live updates throughout both games and tweet to @HuffPostSports to join in the conversation
