Rose McGowan Stars In 'Napa,' Plays Soldier Turns Sheriff

Rose McGowan Is The Law

Rose McGowan is, once again, changing our image of her.

The actress will headline the romantic thriller "Napa," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

McGowan plays a discharged solider who returns to her hometown and takes up the job of sheriff. Interesting! (And very strange.)

The "Charmed" star has been trying to find her stride, appearing in "Conan the Barbaian" and making guest appearances on "Law & Order: SVU."

"Napa" marks Michael Kerr's directorial feature debut. He collaborated with Hans Ostrom on the script, which is based on Ostrom’s novel "Three to Get Ready."

Can Rose rock as a solider-turned-sheriff?
