Erin Burnett drew solid, if not spectacular, ratings on the first night of her new show.
"Outfront" premiered Monday night and beat MSNBC's "Hardball" in the key 25-54 demo, drawing in 215,000 viewers. The show did not make so many waves in the total viewing category, with 535,000 tuning in. That put "Outfront" in last place for the hour.
Even so, the numbers are a sharp improvement over CNN's ratings in the timeslot over the past month. (Of course, Burnett has said repeatedly that she will not look at ratings, so she is probably unaware of the good news.)
