Steve Jobs Dead: Twitter Reacts To Apple's Announcement

Twitter Reacts To Steve Jobs's Death

This post has been updated.

On October 5, when Apple announced on their website that Steve Jobs, CEO and co-founder of the company, had died, mourners everywhere took to Twitter to express their condolences to the Jobs family, their heartache, and deep respect for the technology visionary.

Some simply posted the apple logo, while others honored Jobs for "changing the world we live in" and "bringing the world into the 21st century."

"RIP Steve Jobs-always inspired us to keep going even when it seems no one gets you...the day does come."

For those who want another way to express their condolences, Apple provided the necessary information in a statement on their website.

Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.
