WATCH: Beyonce Premieres New Video For 'Countdown', Shows Off Baby Bump

Since Beyonce coyly announced at the MTV Video Music Awards that she and Jay-Z were expecting their first child , the pop diva hasn't been shy about showing off her baby bump.

That bump gets major billing in the superstar's characteristically kinetic new video "Countdown," which was directed by Adria Petty. After an opening sequence that's a hat-tip to Audrey Hepburn, Bey turns in profile and shows off just how far along she is.

"I'm very excited!" Beyonce told E! News last month while promoting her hew fragrance, Pulse. "I'm probably the happiest I've ever been."

I've always found Beyonce fans interesting, especially fellas. She is very beautiful but strikes me as very superficial. I've always been more of an Alicia Keys fan. Alicia's material is much more soulful and substantive. I think the people we choose to cheer on and obsess ourselves with says much about us.

Too bad Alicia wasn't deep and soulful and perhaps conscientious enough to NOT involve herself with a married man.

Maybe Beyonce's music isn't rich, but her spirit is. I admire her vibrant soul more than Alicia's.

The video is better than the song. I'm not really a fan of Beyonce's music.

Did she sample the "10, 9, 8, 7..." part from Boyz II Men's song Uhh Ahh? It sounds like them. Well at least she was sort of paying homage to a group that could actually sing. I miss the "old school" music lol.

How about you go click on those stories if you're so interested in them? If Beyoncé and her baby bump are so insignificant then there's no need to click on the story. Entertainment news is still news. It's not "current events", but it's still interesting to some people. It's not like this is placed among the top stories anyway. It's near the bottom of the page with the rest of the entertainment stories.

Entertainment news, as you call it isn't really news at all. You can call news "current events" if you'd like but the point is that this stuff is at the forefront and it is undeniable. Entertainment and news shouldn't even be in the same phrase. I think you can inform in an entertaining way through parody, humor, sarcasm, or other ways but you cant entertain to inform. Bottom line is that I respect Huffington Post for the work they do but when you put the baby bump on there it says one of two things: Either they are selling out real journalism for a buck or people have no real interest in real journalism.
