Bethenny Frankel's Estranged Mother Says Daughter Is Headed For Divorce (VIDEO)

"Real Housewives of New York City's" Bethenny Frankel is headed for a divorce, at least that's what her estranged mother Bernadette Birk claims.

Star magazine (via RadarOnline) is reporting that the reality TV star's mother is speaking out, alleging that Bethenny's Skinnygirl Margaritas concept was her idea, and claims Bethenny and husband Jason Hoppy's relationship will fall apart when her daughter doesn't stand to gain anything from the marriage anymore.

Birk told the magazine that Bethenny will soon dump Jason, explaining that "He is really too weak for her."

By her own admission, Birk has only spoken with her daughter twice in the last 10 years, but feels she knows her daughter well enough to forecast her romantic future.

"She only puts herself around people who can do something for her. It's amazing how she turned out just like her father," Birk told Star.

Bethenny's mom is also claiming her daughter snagged her multimillion dollar diet margarita drink from her. She explained that Bethenny's overweight godmother would visit when she was young, and Birk claims she would make her a low-fat version of the cocktail instead, but her daughter won't give her credit because, "it goes against her narcissistic point of view."

Bethenny and Jason Hoppy were married in March 2010 and welcomed baby girl, Bryn in May of that year.

Until now there had been no indication that the couple was unhappy, and just this past summer, Bethenny was even talking about adding to their family in the future.

It's no secret that Bethenny and her mother aren't on good terms. In her book "A Place of Yes: 10 Rules For Getting Everything You Want Out of Life," Bethenny wrote openly about her childhood:

"I didn't feel like a victim as a child, and I don't feel like one now," she wrote. "But I never felt very safe, and I never felt like I could trust that someone else was in control of the situation."

The reality star spoke to Hollywood Life in March, telling them that she, "shouldn't have been in Vegas at 13," and "I shouldn't have been in nightclubs at 13."

Birk in turn denied her daughter's claims and also spoke with Hollywood Life, telling them she considers Bethenny to "be demented and beyond help."

I live for the day when programming executives decide enough is enough with reality television. Imagine how disheartening it must be for all those talented actors and actresses out there, who haven't been able to get work for years, because we're watching their nameless neighbors get bikini waxes.

Anyone who insists on spelling Bethany "Bethenny" isn't just estranged from her mom, she's estranged from reality. Could someone, once and for all, please put this woman out of my misery?

Bethenny's mother has been silent for almost 3 years. Bethenny is the one that began bad-mouthing her parents on national tv. They have remained silent until recently which is pretty amazing, most people who had someone saying awful things about them would have spoken out immediately. Bethenny isn't known for her honesty and would do anything for fame and fortune, what are a few lies to get a good story line!

As for Jason and Bethenny's marriage, if Bethenny doesn't treat his parents with more respect then I can see him walking out on her.

There is a pattern here, Bethenny doesn't have a relationship with her parents and she's about to ruin her relationship with Jason's parents. If you look back at photos of Bethenny's childhood at Radar Online she wasn't the poor, underprivelidged child she's portrayed herself on the Real Housewives. After watching the E True Hollywood Story Bethenny contradicted numerous things she's said, oh what a web of lies Bethenny has woven.

I've only seen a couple of episodes but she treats them terribly.He appears to have a great relationship with his parents but she'll probably ruin that.I'm sure they only tolerate her for the sake of their son and granddaughter.

I have to admit, when people tell me they don't speak to one or both of their parents, I tend to judge them. But this story reminds me that some people are exponentially better off without their parents in their life.

You just confirmed a small insecurity I had about not having a relationship with my mother...that some people would judge me for it, without knowing the story...
I think in general people expect that parents, especially mothers, are decent and good...unfortunately parents are people too and while we recognize that none of us would be here without sperm and egg donors, I have had to learn that not all parents mean their children well or have good intentions.
Try dealing with a mother who was jealous of her child's accomplishments and who blames what she perceived as failures in life, on having had children...

While I don't understand Birk's motive for spilling her hateful remarks toward her estranged daughter to the media, I do feel that Bethenny Frankel is a driven, self-absorbed woman. Her meteroic financial success has certainly dwarfed that of her husband, Jason. Is he willing to play second to her career? Time will tell, but the more that she basks in the limelight, the greater the chance that her marriage may not survive all the media scrutiny.

How can you have anything to do with or love when the very person who should always be on your side tells you that you are demented. Twice in 10 years is a lot for these two. Yeah! Bethany should keep her mother away from her husband and child. Her mother must be a very viscious person. On the other hand I see Bethany as a very fragile woman who has a lot of problems. Besides her Mother her Father was a in left field. Who did she really have. this woman has even predicted a divorce for them. Ugh!

Bethany's Mother is exactly how Bethany described her, and with what she is saying about Bethany now, it should make believers out of everyone, that Bethany wasnt exaggerating. It's pure jealousy. I know it and have experienced it in my own family. They see you doing something good with your life and making it on your own, and they have to tear you down in anyway they can. I can relate to Bethany, and I say that she is getting stronger and stronger and with Jason's help, she can overcome the degradation of a jealous family. Hopefully better than I did.

This lady was never a "mother" to Bethenny and for her to even speak her name is ridiculous and the only reason so she can have her name in the media. Bethenny has always made it clear they have never had a relationship. As to Bethenny she is a fraud herself and her lying I knew one day was going to kick her in the butt and it is NOW coming...Her day is coming near...Watch out Bethenny all those millions will be gone soon with all the lawsuits you will be facing...lol
