Glenn Beck: Jon Stewart 'A Moron' For Comparing Occupy Wall Street, Tea Party (AUDIO)

Beck Rages At Jon Stewart: 'Moron,' 'Dope'

Glenn Beck unleashed a torrent of invective at Jon Stewart on his Friday radio show, calling the comedian a "dope" and a "moron" for comparing the Occupy Wall Street movement to the Tea Party.

Beck was indignant at this notion. After replaying a clip of Stewart asking, "But these protesters, how are they not like the Tea Party?" Beck said that there were too many differences to discuss on his half-hour show.

Speaking to Stewart, Beck instructed, "Open your eyes, you moron." He and his co-hosts accused Occupy Wall Street of "calling for killing and cannibalizing the rich" and "talking about revolution in the streets and destroying the system."

Then, he said, “You know, Jon Stewart, I have absolutely no respect for you. You are not a thinking man at all.” He also implied that Stewart was over the hill, comparing him to an aging Bob Hope.

Of course, Stewart has made fun of Beck many times before. The comedian has parodied Beck, mocked him for an entire episode, and organized a counter-rally to Beck's "Restoring Honor" event. However, Friday's show was one rare occurrence where Stewart seemed to get to Beck. In the past, Beck has enjoyed Stewart's wisecracks, and even wished him luck with his counter-rally. Now, though, it seems as though Beck has no love left for Stewart.
