This week saw no shortage of cute animals popping up in the news. This video of a dozen baby pandas napping together at a breeding center in China is sure to brighten your day.

This week also marked World Animal Day. In honor of the occasion, check out our collection of cute animal videos. Sadly, the friendly and cuddly creatures in the videos are also species that are threatened or endangered in the wild.
There are no cute videos for some of these unlucky animals. A whale washed up on a New Jersey beach after having been shot and suffering for a month, and the morality of animal trapping was examined in an interview with a Pennsylvania trapper.
