Karlie Kloss, Lindsey Wixson, Jourdan Dunn & More Answer Questions At Rodarte (VIDEO)

We realized, after watching these surprisingly poignant Kate Moss audition tapes last week, that we rarely hear our favorite models speak. We see their faces on runways, covers and magazine pages -- but what do their voices even sound like?

Rodarte has given us the answer in a super cute casting video, in which top models including Karlie Kloss, Lindsey Wixson, Jourdan Dunn, Eniko Mihalik, Liu Wen and Fei Fei Sun answer random questions in an on-the-spot, model-themed Proust Questionnaire.

And their answers are pretty cute. The girls favor old school music (except Liu, who inexplicably names "Happy Birthday" as her favorite song), Karlie loves the smell of fresh-baked cookies (no surprise there), Jourdan's favorite place to read is on the toilet and Eniko's got a dry, sarcastic streak.

Caroline Trentini and Eniko Mihalik were very engaging in the interview. They were funny. :))

Caroline: Football or American football? Soccer. Hello, I'm from Brazil.

Eniko: Lemon or lime? Lime. Shit, I was going to say lemon.

Smarter than many posters here, but that's a low bar...

Had they interviewed HP posters, 1/2 of all the answers would have been snarky insults. The other 1/2 would have blamed Bush for everything bad and then ended with a snarky insult.

These women are above average looking. Maybe I've been spoiled by living in Manhattan. They're all kind of cute. However, they aren't uncommonly beautiful. I'm beginning to think the term "model" gets applied to anybody who has a single digit dress size.

I met the future Ms. Texas last January. I was surprised when someone told me she had came in 3rd place the year before and won it this year. She was an average looking girl wearing sweats when I met her. Like these models, she wasn't wearing make up and didn't dress to impress me. Once these girls are dressed and made up, you might not be able to recognize them...

I rarely find pageant winner beautiful. Same goes for Playboy Playmates. I'm into Evangeline Lilly, Marion Cotillard, Sienna Miller, Jennifer Garner, Julie Christie, Kate Mara, Emily Blunt, Cate Blanchett, Winona Ryder, Christy Turlington, Elizabeth Hurley, Angelina Jolie, Julia Roberts, and others.

All these women would look beautiful with the flu. They all have lovely bone structure (Garner, Jolie, Blanchett, Christie) and lovely features. A woman like Marion Cotillard would be very beautiful without a single dab of make-up. These are true beauties. Some models are true beauties. Kate Moss and Gisele leap to mind.

In high school, I was a Deadhead (I'm very different now). Hippies chicks don't wear make-up and don't bathe or wash their hair. However, a hippie with a face like Winona Ryder or Julie Delpy would still be beautiful.

IMO, actresses are better looking than models.

Well, thank goodness, that helps to explode the myth that beautiful women aren't very bright.

Most of these young women were speaking English as a second language -- speaking more fluently than native English speakers and most were doing an admirable job answering banal questions w/originality and real intelligence.

Interestingly, the only one who sounded dopey was the one with the big head, malformed chin and chipmunk teeth who grew up speaking English as her first language.

... who grew up speaking English as her first language ... and could barely speak her own language.

I was all ready to, well you know, just make a joke about the headline. I took the bait, and golly golly aren't they perky?
