Occupy Wall Street: Jeff Magnum, Talib Kweli, Anti-Flag And The Music Of Zucotti Park (VIDEOS)

WATCH: Anti-Flag, Talib Kweli And The Music Of Occupy Wall Steet

There is no amplification allowed in Zucotti Park, home of the Occupy Wall Street protest in New York. It's why protesters have to use "the people's microphone"— the effective, albeit grating, method of repeating every phrase uttered by speakers so that everyone can hear— and it's why famous musicians, when they stop by to show support, are playing some intimate acoustic sets.

True, Radiohead never showed up, but Jeff Magnum, Talib Kweli, Anti-Flag, Immortal Technique and Michael Franti, all musicians that would likely play to sell-out crowds at some of New York's best venues, have performed in Zucotti. Protesters gather around close, record the performance on their iPhones and sometimes even sing-along.
