Heather Morris Covers Seventeen

Heather Morris covers the November issue of Seventeen magazine and opens up about what she was like as a kid and how she found her way to dance.

Morris pops onto our screens every Tuesday night to portray the ditzy and lovable Brittany S. Pierce, who is currently running for McKinley High's senior class president, on the hit Fox series "Glee" and in her interview with Seventeen, she remembers her own time as a high school student.

With the untimely passing of Morris' father, when she was only 14-years-old, she and her mother developed a close relationship as she worked through her grief. Morris describes her own struggles saying, "at times, I didn’t care at all and I went to school in my pajamas and I cried. But then I cut it out and I focused on my dancing. I was in dance class all the time.”

And those hours of dancing have certainly paid off. Morris was a backup dancer for Beyonce and is now a part of one of the most talked about shows on television.
