Ben Stiller To Star In New Fox Series, 'RentaGhost'

This Guy?

While he may be heading to the big screen for "Tower Heist," and, eventually, "Zoolander 2," Ben Stiller will soon be getting back to his TV roots.

Showblitz reports that the actor will be starring in Fox's "RentaGhost," a comedy series about a temp agency for departed souls. The show is based on the BBC series, which ran between 1976 and 1984, staring the late Fred Mumford.

In the original series, Mumford, who felt he wasted away his 27 years on earth, was dead-set on upping his productivity in the afterlife. He established the company, RentaGhost, which rented out ghosts and ghouls to preform various tasks.

The concept was originally in development at Warner Bros., in the hopes of releasing "Beetlejuice"-esque comedy, with Russel Brand playing the lead.

Is it too soon to hope that Stiller will be making a surprise comeback as Tony Wonder in "Arrested Development," too?
