Demi Moore For Ann Taylor: New Winter Ads Debut (PHOTOS)

Demi Moore loves showing off her killer body (you know, the one that looks like it belongs to a 25-year-old?).

But the 48-year-old actress put some clothes on for the newest Ann Taylor ads, which feature Moore in the retailer's winter collection.

Shot in a Los Angeles studio by Norman Jean Roy, the spots show a snowy, glittery winter scene with Moore posing in basic Ann Taylor separates like jeans and a white button-down.

"I loved working with Norman Jean Roy. He was an amazing collaborator," Moore told Women's Wear Daily, "His creative vision, direction and ability to create the magical winter wonderland scene was remarkable."

My goodness, some people act as though a woman over 40 is suppose to just shrivel up in a corner and disappear. There's no...she looks good and I can't believe she's 48 nonsense. There are tons and tons of everyday women over 40 who look good. It's not that rare...over 40 is not what the media and Hollywood likes to portray. There are women who are just as beautiful and active...in some cases more so, than they were in their 20's and 30's. Women are hammered harder and more viciously than men ever are as they age. It seems that more people pull for older men than older women...it is particularly disturbing when the ridicule comes from other women. This woman has every right to do whatever she pleases and she doesn't have to ask anyone's permission or opinion to do so. Why can't people embrace aging? It's going to happen to us all eventually, God willing, so why trip? I'm not a Demi Moore fan, but I am a woman and I find it annoying and offensive that a woman's age is always a topic of conversation and debate. What...do you want some 18 yr. old modeling clothes that should be on a more mature, sophisticated woman? After all, older women...if anyone has money to buy clothes, are the ones with the most discretionary income.

Every comment about these two says something about how she looks. Maybe it's her personality. Maybe she's mean, or stupid, or annoying. Maybe she never shuts up. Maybe she embarrasses him when she acts 14 years old. It doesn't have to be about how she looks. It hardly ever is.
Then again-maybe she's sick of him. Maybe it's about having kids. Maybe she's embarrassed by him. Whatever it is, I don't think the problem-on either side-is how the other one looks.
I also think that the person who said we're all being punked could be on to something.

somehow it's hard to believe the public isn't being manipulated again, Ann Taylor could have chosen someone less self obsessed - just wish this rather amazing woman would somehow concentrate on her career rather than her boy hubby and his twitter escapades (hers too for that matter), emphasis on new efforts to make money by showing up for photos EVERYwhere for ANYthing. Feels downright icky. How in the heck did it happen - Bruce Willis ends up the classy one . . .

At least she is still asked to make photos... and you know what... she is paid for that. And YOU never successful acted and nobody ask you for photos. .. how sad
