'Skwerl': Fake English In A Short Film (VIDEO)

Here's an Australian short that's basically the film equivalent of writing without vowels. The couple in "Skwerl" speak a combination of mixed-up English and nonsense words, but their meaning is eminently clear (especially when the girl says to the guy, "You fucking asshole"). For more irresistible English knockoffs, check out the 70s Italian radio hit and since internet meme Prisencolinensinaincuisol.

Years ago I was considering how we imitate the sounds of languages that we do not speak, especially French, Swedish, and Japanese and wondered how non-english speakers imitate us. So, as I travelled I asked people to do fake english. The results are enlightening and often hilarious.

By the way this is nothing like writing without vowels. What a stupid analogy.

Just like Monty Python said:

What makes it worse, sometimes at the end of a sentence I'll come out with the wrong fusebox.
And the thing about saying the wrong word is
a] I don't notice it, and
b] sometimes orange water given bucket of plaster.
