Eric Bolling Mocks Occupy Wall Street With Tin Foil Hat (VIDEO)

First Posted: 10/15/11 03:23 PM ET Updated: 12/15/11 05:12 AM ET

Fox News host Eric Bolling found a new way to mock the Occupy Wall Street protesters on Friday's episode of "The Five."

Bolling wore a tin-foil hat and nerdy glasses, and held a sign reading "Occupy The Five." The gesture seemed to go down well with most of Bolling's colleagues, who chortled appreciatively at his lampoonery and played video of what they felt were stupid protesters in the movement. Co-host Andrea Tantaros chimed in, saying that the protesters never brushed their teeth. Greg Gutfeld added that he didn't see any point to Occupy Wall Street.

Co-host Bob Beckel was not so amused, though, telling Bolling he should be "embarrassed" for his family.

Occupy Wall Street has not exactly been met with joy and approval at Fox News. Ann Coulter compared the protesters to Nazis during an appearance on the network's sister business channel, and Bill O'Reilly called them "crackheads." The movement has returned the favor, criticizing Fox News in interviews and shouting down its hosts when they have made the trek to the Lower Manhattan encampment.

I have known Gutfeld for years and he is one of the least informed commentators anywhere on television. He spends more timje trying to be cool, hip and relevant than he does being smart.

Hardly a surprise knowing Faux Nooze is a conspiring cabal of right-wing sock puppets spreading disinformation in return for money. Faux Nooze brand kool-aid.
07:29 AM on 10/18/2011
And in the midst of that look at what the left wing is cooking up. Talk about misinformation. You guys can't defend your record so you deflect onto the republicans. You're really not fooling anyone anymore. Should be the less than 20. Less than 20% of our country is left wing cooks.

That right-wing kool-aid apparently makes gullible people forget all about the criminality of the bankers and brokers who brought the house down and then got taxpayers to hand a trillion dollars over to Republican Hank Paulsen who refused to say how he distributed the booty. Who's fooling whom?

What is a "left wing cook"? Someone who cooks using organic ingredients?

(cont.)What many are failing to draw from what is happening, AROUND THE WORLD, is that we are all human and we all deserve to go to sleep at night with at least a full stomach and a roof over our heads, the people, AROUND THE WORLD, who are destitute and unfulfilled did not choose to be, they are not lazy and directionless, they simply have never had the opportunity to even conjecture that their might be comething better than joining the local militia, and it is the responsibility of media organizations to spread truth, not to dissemble and distort the message. One world, one people, one dream, we are at a crossroads where there are a multitude of paths, which one we choose will define our society, the human society, for the rest of our existence. Slough off out petty differneces and embrace hope, peace and love. It is NOT a pipe dream, we have the ability and the resources to achieve contentment for everyone, not one human being excluded.

When the "local media" is "FOXNEWS" and they totally support whatever big business does, (because THAT is who they are...), we are always going to get biased opinions from them. It is NOT news.
07:35 AM on 10/18/2011
You obviousily have not a clue. Obama got more campaign donations from big corps than any other president. The left is just as much in bed with corps than the repubs. The problem is some people are so ignorant they believe campaign rhetoric over actual facts. Try looking things up.

Next thing you know you'll expect wild animals to share their food too. Whats mine is mine not yours and mine. The truth is some people do not want to work, they want the affluent to pay for them. Socialism does not work anywhere in the world and its not going to work here.
01:44 PM on 10/18/2011
Do we have to say this to you fools again. The rich don't work!!! The Koch brothers were born rich, and say to those born poor its you fault you were born poor. You are a sick and twisted sociopath if you think this naive Randanista paradise you espouse will do anything but rip itself apart.
01:37 AM on 10/20/2011
There is a false dichotomy that is inherent in the way that you view this movement. There isn't just socialism - capitalism. There is a large area of middle ground. And the animals do share their food with us whether they like it or not, we however don't often take them into consideration. We are the biggest competition, currently, on the planet for all other forms of life, for food, for space and for the planet itself. Socialism also wasn't in place in most of the places across the globe that you are thinking of, that would be communism, although it wasn't even true communism. Yes those "regimes" failed due in part to destabilizing wars and political pressures that were the only policy that the U.S. practiced towards them...soooo yeah I don't like my tax dollars being spent on wars, and other inane tasks that I have no say in. And if I had my druthers, there would be NO wars enacted by our gov't with or without congress' consent.

Two of the news anchors of FOX News have the highest, most respected credentials of any news anchor out there. Those two are Britt Hume and Chris Wallace. You who hate FOX don't know the difference between FOX NEWS and FOX talk shows. O'Reilly and Hannity and such are talk show moderators--sorta like the VIEW. There's a difference. They all rely on opinion and are biased in one direction or the other. There's no better or higher qualified business channel than FOX either--with Neal Cavuto. They tell it like it is.
10:45 PM on 10/17/2011
I would prefer though, that news organizations, everywhere, not just FOx would stick to facts and not pander to their "markets" it helps no one grow, when someone is spoon feeding you opinions, regardless of whether they are good or bad, my parents tried to teach me this, to ask questions, of them of everyone and everything. Formulating your own opinion based on facts is the absolute height of opening a succesful and constructive dialogue, I respect you for your candor and insight sir/and or madame.

They tell it like it is BASED on their own biased opinion. You stated that Britt Hume, Chris Wallace, and Neal Cavuto have the most respected credentials, yet I have heard of NONE of them... Oh, yeah, I guess that is because I don't watch or respect any organization whose main purpose is to bash all views that are not PRO-Republican or PRO-Conservative or biased in their slanted opinions.

The thing the Left has never answered is this: Why was your news media so damning of the Tea Party which protested the increases in deficit spending? Why did it mock them? Why did it say that people should not protest? That they were "troublemakers?" Truth is, the naive but passionate young are so easily led and so easily trapped. The Russian Revolution was led by good people just like them, then taken over by the "Reds" who stepped in to take them over, and then came the horrors of the Gulag and all that followed. This would be no different. Already I hear many of them laying this all at the feet of the JEWS. Must we have another holocaust?
10:21 PM on 10/17/2011
You haven't heard anyone lay this at the feat of the Jews, you've heard rush limbaugh claim that the left is laying this at the feet of the Jews. You see, limbaugh has no respect for his audience so he has no problem lying to them. Also, we dammed the Tea Party because the feeling is that the Tea Party is primarily motivated by their rejection of the first black president and most of us still feel that way today. Their policy demands are just a smoke screen to give them a sense of legitimacy, especially given that their policy demands are identical to republican policy interest.

I agree with what you stated, but also the fact that the "teabagger" are a group of uninformed people. They are very conservative. They are highly uneducated. I don't want ANY group that is so uneducated to be able to influence the public or the politics of this nation..
10:52 PM on 10/17/2011
The people that you are referring to are indeed taking a strong stance on the "Zionist" complicity that has for some time been going on between the nation-state of Israel and many NATO members, such as the U.S., there is nothing wrong with people who practice judaism, there is however something wrong with imperialism, and the seizure of land regardless of who is already living there at the time. It is NOT ok to displace anyone including those individuals who were living in Palestine, or anywhere else. Religion is no basis for an alliance regardless of how affiliated they may be. Islam is also one of the three "religions of the book" and they didn't deserve to be re-located against there will anymore than the holocaust should have happened or the McCarthyism of the 50's should have been allowed to flourish, and poison our minds against our fellow man. Attrocities of that magnitude, of any magnitude need to be abolished, and left in the history books, to be remembered but never repeated.
