Giuliana Rancic Breast Cancer: 'E! News' Anchor Announces Diagnosis On 'Today'

First Posted: 10/17/11 09:24 AM ET Updated: 12/13/11 10:12 AM ET

Giuliana Rancic, the host of "E! News," announced on the "Today" show Monday that she has breast cancer. (Watch video above.)

Rancic has been the co-host of "E! News" since 2006, and is a frequent presence on red carpet shows. She has been open about her struggle to conceive a child, and chronicled two failed in vitro fertilization attempts on her reality show. She told "Today" that a third attempt turned up the sad news of her disease.

"Through my attempt to get pregnant for the third time, we sadly found out that I have early stages of breast cancer," she said. "It's been a shock. A lot of people have been asking, we saw that you went and got IVF, are you pregnant? But sadly, we've had to put that off."

Rancic said she found the cancer early, and will have surgery later this week. She vowed to continue trying to have a baby. "I still want this baby ... because this baby has saved my life," she said.

I really hope somehow this information gets to Giuliana ...
Please, please, please look at a couple of natural supplements that I used. They both have a tremendous amount of actual clinical research behind them! They are ImmPower and Ave Ultra. Go the manufacturers website to see the research. I believe it is www.americanbiosciences.com

Again, please at least take a look. My life, and maybe yours, will depend on it!

Thoughts and prayers to Giuliana and Bill. I'm glad they caught it early, as it looks like she will be able to survive this. Kudos to her for getting the word out. I'm getting my mammogram scheduled asap.

Hopefully she'll soon announce that HIPPA LAWS are now obsolete.

Well, I don't know a thing about her but it doesn't matter. I hope she pulls through, and that her fans and even non-fans get together to fight this awful thing called breast cancer. I will be participating in the local breast cancer walk on Saturday and encourage everyone else to do something to get involved as well--everyone I know has been touched by breast cancer, either directly or indirectly. I am confident we can find a cure!

My prayers are with you and Bill. I think you two are great down to earth people, as are your families. Thank God you found the cancer early. I saw Bill on the "Today" show this morning and he said everything is going well, Now it's time to leave this chapter behind you and focus on having that miracle baby you desperately want. He or She will be a blessing to you both. God Bless You.

here's a news item about the oil's properties:

Cannabis stops cancer (Harvard)
Cannabis stops breast cancer (UCSF)
Cannabis grows brain cells in mice (Princeton)

Rick Simpson's
Run From the Cure shows how to make it, but it takes great care to process.

My Ma was a double cut, and that didn't get rid of it. She started in 1956 and suffered through a barrage of doctors' tortures (cutting, operations, radiation, heavy chemo, chemo mixed with radiation, chemo alone, until finally, in 1985, she beat it. Near thirty years later.Total remission.

Heart problems finally killed her in 1987.

Didn't we used to have HIPPA LAWS?
12:35 AM on 10/21/2011
Yes, and still do, however she is the patient and she is the one choosing to out the story to benefit women in denial, at a young age, with the thought process that they have no need to schedule mammograms. It's basically a PSA.

Giuliana, look up Stanislaw Burzynski, MD, PHD in biochemistry, before you throw yourself into the medical establishment.

It does not matter who you are, where you are, or what you do, breast cancer is horrid.

Good luck to Giuliana, and every other woman on the planet.
