Raiders Fake Field Goal: Kevin Boss Scores Touchdown On Trick Play Against Browns (VIDEO)

Tricky Raiders Pull Off Perfect Fake Field Goal For A TD

Anyone have Oakland Raiders punter Shane Lechler on their fantasy football team? Probably not. But if you're looking to add some quarterback depth then perhaps the veteran kicker is worth a look.

Facing a 4th and 20 on Cleveland's 35-yard line late in the third quarter, Raiders coach Hue Jackson sent bulky place kicker Sebastian Janikowski and the field goal unit out, ostensibly to add three more points to the 17-7 edge that the Raiders already held over the Browns.

Instead, Lechler -- who is the holder on field goal attempts -- stood up after taking the snap. The former high school quarterback, held the ball for a moment and then lofted a pass to the wide open tight end Kevin Boss, who was darting down the right side line. With nobody in front of him, Boss reeled in the pass and outran the defenders to add six more points to the Raiders' lead. The touchdown gave Oakland enough of a cushion to hold off the Browns, who scored 10 points in the fourth quarter but fell 24-17.

Lechler finished the game with a passer rating of 158.3. With starting quarterback Jason Campbell forced to miss the rest of the season with a broken collarbone, it looks like the Raiders have some options..
