Teresa Giudice Getting Her Own Cooking Show?

Love her or hate her, "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice plans to be on television for a long time. Having just finished taping season four of her hit Bravo reality show, Teresa will compete on Donald Trump's "Celebrity Apprentice" and hopes to launch her own cooking show.

“She managed to work her ass off and work her way out of bankruptcy," a friend of Teresa tells me. "She’s just written her third book and she’s going to be on 'Celebrity Apprentice' with many more viewers than 'Housewives' gets, [and] that premieres after the Super Bowl. Then she’s off to do her own cooking show.”

Now that both of Teresa's books have made it on The New York Times best seller list, attorneys for the reality star have said that rather than having her debts expunged in bankruptcy court, she is paying off her creditors. However details about her new cooking show are scarce, and there is a big difference between shooting a new show and having a successful program make it on TV.

“If all goes [according] to plan, Teresa will be on TV from January to May in 'The Apprentice,' May to October with 'RHONJ' season four and then with her own show focusing on real Italian food,” another insider tells me.

The only problem with this plan is that as powerful as Teresa might think she is, she is not the head of programming at any network yet. "Celebrity Apprentice" will debut in early 2012, but so far no date has been set by Bravo for the next season of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey." But more importantly if Teresa keeps alienating viewers and fans like she did on Sunday's reunion episode, it's hard to imagine she will have any audience left to watch her make her skinny Italian delights.

Doesn't that just mean they filed Chapter 7 instead of Chapter 11? As for a cooking show, I could see it on Food Network. Cuz like they don't have enough Italian-American chicks on there already.

Geez, do people really believe that these reality shows are not scripted. There is always one villain and at the reunion shows they all go after the villain. Each one of the Real Housewives follows the same script!

I don't understand how anyone can even STAND her let alone say they "LOVE her" She is a big mouthed, jealous. trouble making, liar and I hope and pray that she doesn't get a show! She doesn't deserve it and I doubt it will be a hit anyway! I know I won't watch it. I don't see one redeeming quality with her or her husband, but....to each his own.

You nailed it right on the head. I cannot understand why anyone would say anything nice about Teresa Guidice. She needs to be thrown off the RHONJ and never given anything else. That's what's wrong with this country. Bad behavior is constantly being rewarded. Trump only selected her because he wants to watch the cat fight between her and Gotti.

Teresa used to be my favorite on this "Housewives" franchise but after watching her this season, and Part I of the "Reunion" special, no longer. She's become quite mean & hateful, envious of anyone who may get more screen time than her, or who may have their own accomplishments. She claims she was upset because her cousin and sister-in-law did not tell her they were going to be on the show this season - as if they had to get her permission. Really? If there are plans for her to have her own cooking show, she better go to some classes on how to behave, speak, and treat others with some kindness. Clearly, everything has gone to her head. She's turned into quite the ugly person, both inside and out.

I like Teresa. Those women are so typical. They were all close friends and "thick as thieves" as Caroline put it until that nasty sister in law and jealous cousin of hers showed up on this season. Caroline who is soooo family oriented isn't speaking to her own sister Dina. Watch next weeks renuion show and you will see how much family means to Caroline. I wish Caroline would cut the apron strings on those boys of hers. Its sad how women turn on each other when they get jealous of each other and that is exactley what happened here.

Celebrity Apprentice, ha, ha, ha!!! I would think you would have to have a GED, at least.
Theresa and her lying, cheating, vile, drunk husband are pathetic. They will throw anyone under the bus for money. Did you not pay attention to the way Joe talked to his kids, it is borderline abusive. Theresa thinks she is 18 and beautiful, she had those hard rocks put on her flat chest and it makes her look even more ridiculous. She has had fights with every single person on the show and uses everyone for her own gain. Disgusting family.

I agree! I so wish someone at the reunion would just plainly say that her problem is stupidity and some money. Even at her age, she;s fixated on being the hottest female in the room--did you see her in Punta Cana? Just embarrassing. And she's so defensive about her mothering skills because she's horrible at it! She'd point a camera at them if they were butchering a pig and say how adorable they are. Her husband is just off-the-charts disgusting. What a season.
