"Today Show" viewers will soon be able to throw in their best guesses for "Where In the World Is Matt Lauer?"

NBC is bringing back the morning show segment, which sends co-host Matt Lauer to secret destinations around the world for a week. The segment starts on November 7, just in time for November sweeps. Viewers and his co-anchors will be able to guess each of his five locations with the help of some clues.

Lauer teased the announcement on Monday morning. "This November, I'm going to be leaving..." he said, "On my special tenth edition of 'Where In the World Is Matt Lauer?'"

The segment for this fall has been in the works for some time now, with news of its return swirling since August. The network put the segment on hold in 2008, citing the recession and choosing to highlight more accessible destinations instead.

It will be Lauer's tenth voyage. "Where In the World" began in 1998 with Lauer traveling to Cairo, Egypt. Since then, he has visited six continents as part of the series.
