Forget the "Real Housewives of New Jersey," Teresa Giudice is about to meet her TV match, going head to head with Victoria Gotti on next season’s "Celebrity Apprentice."
“Donald Trump is a casting genius,” a TV insider tells me. “Putting these two strong Italian ladies together in a competition and having camera crews follow them around is going to be TV gold.”
But Teresa is no stranger to drama. The raven-haired spitfire has recently come under fire from her fellow Bravo castmates, including a surprising rift with the level-headed Caroline Manzo, who has always been the voice of reason on the show. But nothing we have seen will compare to the fireworks hoped for by the producers of "Celebrity Apprentice."
“Taping 'Housewives' is easy compared to taping the 'Apprentice,'" a TV insider tells me. “First of all, you have a 5:30 a.m. wake-up call every day and then are given a task which you have two days to complete and then you start all over again.”
Several ex-contestants, including Andrew Dice Clay and Carol Alt, have told me how tough participating in the show really is -- add Giudice and Gotti, mix well, and it sounds like Donald has guaranteed himself another hit season.
