Jon Mirasty, Maxim Yeprev Fight: KHL Player Smiles While Getting Punched (VIDEO)

This Hockey Player Apparently Likes Getting Punched In The Face

As the saying goes, different strokes for different folks.

Unlike most people, Jon Mirasty of the Kontinental Hockey League's Vityaz Chekhov seems to like getting punched in the face. This doesn't seem out of character for a player on Chekhov, a team that Greg Wyshynski of Puck Daddy described as "a gong-show goon squad that's three Hanson Brothers away from being "Slap Shot: Mission to Moscow."

During a recent fight with Maxim Yeprev of Metallurg, Mirasty freely absorbed multiple blows to the face while carefully removing his helmet and, strangely enough, smiling. We can only imagine how frustrating this must have been for Yeprev, who was clearly trying his hardest to remove the grin from his foe's face.

After taking a few shots to the head, Mirasty finally decided to strike back and was able to take Yeprev down with a single punch.

Below are several other recent hockey fights to scroll through. As best we can tell, Mirasty is enjoying his scuffle the most.
