Miranda Kerr Unveils Victoria's Secret Fantasy Treasure Bra (PHOTOS)

People love to gripe about how unrealistic Barbie dolls are: how their proportions are all wrong, how the smooth skin and shiny hair set unattainable standards, how too perfect they look.

Well those people should turn their attention to Miranda Kerr, who stepped out today looking more like a real-life Barbie than anyone we've ever seen.

The Australian model stopped by Victoria's Secret to unveil the 2011 Secret Fantasy Treasure Bra. The undergarment, which Kerr will wear at November's Victoria's Secret Fashion show, is decorated with precious gems and is worth $2.5 million.

In other words, don't accidentally stick it in the wash.

To present the pricey piece in all its glory, Kerr dressed up in perfect Victoria's Secret pink, wearing a strapless dress with a very high slit (all the better to show off her miraculously stretch mark-free legs).

Most of you are thinking WAY too hard into this. Unrealistic? Yea, of course...this is just a fantastical artistic piece, and the concept is not new...one is made every year traditionally for a select model to wear during Victoria's Secret's holiday fashion show. Afterwords it is auctioned off for charity, I believe. If you're still irked, think about the jobs created for those who made it. :)

I still don't understand the point of making a 2.5 million dollar bra. What a waste of money. You can't wear it daily and even if you did, how the heck do you wash it? Leave it at the dry cleaners? Lol, I'm sure that when you'd go back to pick it up, the dry cleaner will be long gone if you catch my drift ;P

Of course it's unrealistic (have you seen the VS fashion show?), it's supposed to be a fantasy piece made for the show and I think it's auctioned off for charity after. They do this every year. No woman is expected to wear this under their clothing :)
