Every time we wonder how Lindsay Lohan went from that sweet redhead in the remake of Disney's "The Parent Trap" to a bloated blonde doing time behind bars, one of her parents decides to put in their two cents, and suddenly it all makes sense.
While Lindsay's mom Dina has been accused of enabling her daughter's problems, it's her estranged farther Michael Lohan who also chirps in every time Lindsay finds herself back in hot water.
While Lindsay was posing for her fifth mug shot after a Los Angeles judge revoked her probation yesterday, Daddy dearest made an appearance on "Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell" making some big accusations about his daughter.
RadarOnline reports Michael told Velez-Mitchell:
"That's from smoking a pipe with meth or crack," he said about photos of Lindsay's brown teeth. "She's smoking either crack or meth, one or the other. I'm not going to shade it."
Lindsay's dad, who has his own drug and legal problems, said that nothing in his daughter's life was going to change unless she enters a year-long treatment program. "Instead of doing community service in the morgue, she's going to wind up in the morgue!"
While Michael Lohan appears to be a concerned father, his claims that Lindsay is smoking crack or meth are all the more outrageous considering reports the two are completely estranged.
Back in March, Lindsay's mother told RadarOnline that Lindsay was no longer speaking to her father. And Lindsay herself, told the website she wished her father would stop talking about her.
"I am sorry that my father has continually chosen to speak publicly about our relationship, my mother, my siblings, and my professional team. I am working through my recovery day-by-day and find his public media bouts unnecessary and damaging," she said.
While Lindsay's parents divorced in 2007, her father has long been estranged from the family and spent parts of Lindsay's childhood in and out of jail. His track record for playing the concerned parent is also highly suspect, since Michael has tried to cash in on his daughter's fame and personal problems.
In 2009, Michael Lohan even tried to sell secret recordings of Lindsay and Dina, in what he says was an attempt to get Lindsay back in rehab. While he tried to sell the tapes for $100,000 he ultimately struck a deal to reveal the tapes for free, followed by a paid interview.
While Lindsay has made it hard for the public to feel any sympathy for her, every time her father opens his mouth you can't help but feel a little something for her.
