#OccupyDenver Protestors Confront Police During Saturday Oct. 15th March (VIDEO)

On Saturday the Occupy Denver movement clashed with police dressed up in riot gear with chants of "Shame!" and, "This is what a police state looks like". Twenty-six protestors were arrested that night and all faced bail requirements, according to Westword.

Though Occupy Denver's requests to camp in the park with tents have been repeatedly denied by both Mayor Michael Hancock and Gov. John Hickenlooper, about 40 or so were sleeping on the sidewalks early Wednesday morning when they were sprayed by the sprinkler system. That morning happened to be Colorado's coldest in about six months, with a low temperature of 27 recorded at Denver International Airport.

A spokeswoman with Denver Parks and Recreation however told the Denver Post that 2:30 a.m. is a typical time for watering park lawns, since the parks close at 11 p.m.

This Saturday the Occupy Denver movement will be hosting a concert at Civic Center Park with about five bands in the lineup including Johnny 5 of the Flobots.
