Dina Lohan Denies She's Writing A Memoir That Will Expose Lindsay's 'Dark Secrets'

Dina Lohan Denies Writing 'Tell-All' Book To Expose Lindsay's Secrets

While Lindsay Lohan's estranged father Michael Lohan put in his two cents on Wednesday telling the press he believes his daughter has been smoking either crack or meth, now TMZ claims they have obtained the prologue to a memoir being shopped around by Lindsay's mother Dina Lohan, that will expose the starlet's "dark secrets."

According to TMZ, Dina confesses in the memoir that when Lindsay's behavior was spiraling out of control, she was conflicted since she was both her mother and her manager:

"I blamed her friends, her career and her handlers for an (sic) newfound lifestyle of partying excessively. Drinking, drugging and behaving irresponsibly became Lindsay's way of daily living--and it tore me up inside."

It's hard to say just what TMZ actually obtained since Dina is calling the memoir "a total lie." Lindsay's mother told Gossip Cop:

"I would NEVER do a negative book about my child," she continues, saying that "when and if" she does a book, it will be "all positive."

We're inclined to believe her since Dina has constantly defended her daughter and long been accused of being an enabler.

In 2010 Dina told the "Today Show" there was nothing wrong with Lindsay:

"I'm not condoning drinking and driving, but she's still paying the price for what she did in 2007," she said referring to Lindsay's two DUI cases, claiming that her daughter had changed and grown up considerably.

Back then Dina said, "When she went out to Los Angeles when she was 19, I had to let her go and let her live and fall and fail and survive. Without failure, there's no success. I was there in close proximity, but you can't make your child no go out and go to a club and not get behind the wheel of a car."

While Dina might not be shopping around a negative tell-all book, it's not farfetched to think she might have something in works.

A true stage mom, Dina has tried to cash in on nearly all her children. Her 17-year-old daughter Ali was recently signed with a prominent modeling agency, amidst rumors that the scary-skinny teenager had undergone plastic surgery. In August, Dina also began her quest to make her son Michael a star, determine to raise $5 million dollars to produce a movie starring her son.
