What happens when you give a lion a soccer ball? Apparently he may know just what to do.
Triton, a lion at the Johannesburg Zoo in South Africa, may not be ready for the South African national team, but he seems to be having a lot of fun with the soccer ball.
According to the Daily Mail, the zoo's nine other lions don't have the same interest in soccer. But 11-year-old Triton won't even play with the zoo's female lions when he has his soccer ball.

Sadly, other lions don't have it so easy. After a courageous battle, Ariel the paralyzed lion died in Brazil in July. Last month, it was revealed that eighteen lions have been neglected at the Tripoli Zoo in Libya after the Gaddafi family fled.
