J.B. Smoove Runs WME On Yom Kippur (VIDEO)

Perhaps this video was made for William Morris Endeavor's internal consumption only, because it left us scratching our heads.

Comedian J.B. Smoove (you may recognize him as Larry David's friend Leon in "Curb Your Enthusiasm") shows up to a talent agency on a Jewish holiday. Of course, everyone has taken leave that day, which means WME is a ghost town. Get it? Hollywood is run by Jews! Smoove plays dumb: "white people think they can just do what the f*ck they want to do all the time!"

Ok, first joke over. Then we see Smoove decide to "run sh*t," which means answering phone calls, responding to emails, and dropping agents' names and accomplishments for inside jokes we will never understand. Throughout, Smoove agonizes over a botched audition for a role as a slave ("maybe I over-slaved it") and threatens to google "Yom Kippur" to see whether or not he's a real person.

Of course, one name we do recognize is Ari Emanuel, the uber-agent at the head of WME. And after spending a day breaking into everyone else's offices, Smoove gets a nasty surprise when trying to open Emanuel's door.
