Julianne Moore hopped on a scooter by herself in the West Village in New York on Sunday.

Though she was riding a toy typically associated with children, Moore's two kids were nowhere to be seen, nor was her usually glamorous wardrobe as she scooted around in black and white track pants, a black hoodie, sneakers and a ponytail.

Julianne, 50, also sported shades -- but not the Lanvin ones she likes to wear indoors.

Moore is in New York to film "What Maisie Knew," a movie based on the novel by Henry James, reports the Daily Mail. She also recently released her third children's book, titled "Best Friends Forever."

Check out Julianne's casual threads and vote in our poll below: Is it wrong to wear sweatpants out and about?
