He's been booed at debates. Accused of voter fraud. Lambasted for distributing paperbacks to doorsteps across the city. Forced to withstand a criminal investigation. Questioned for his ties to powerful interest groups.

In a video released Tuesday spoofing MC Hammer's cult classic "2 Legit 2 Quit," an impressive host of Bay Area icons proclaimed their support for our interim mayor. Among the faces featured: Giants legend and city favorite Brian Wilson (who urged fans to "fear the mustache"), Twitter co-founder and HuffPost blogger Biz Stone, Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am, and yes, Hammer himself.

The video follows several high-profile endorsements, most recently from former San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom, who tapped Lee as his successor after he won the race for California Lieutenant Governor.

Meanwhile, Lee's opponents have called for federal and state election monitors to investigate accusations that his allies tampered with the ballots of non-English speaking constituents. Lee has denied any association with the group in question. "If it was my campaign doing that, I would fire them immediately; they should not be handling ballots for anybody else," he said Monday.

What do you think of Lee's latest slew of celebrity support? Enough to sway your vote on election day? Take a look at the video below, and check out our Mayoral Candidate Big News Page to hear from the hopefuls in their own voices.
