A Look At The Style Evolution Of Jennifer Hudson (PHOTOS)

Jennifer Hudson has gone from American Idol alum to Oscar-winning actress and superstar in a matter of a few years.

Now after losing a reported 80 pounds on Weight Watchers and opening a weight loss center in her hometown of Chicago, Hudson has added skinny-girl and style star to her resume.

Hudson's career, style and body transformation has been amazing to watch. Along the way she has continued to land major movie roles, record new albums and find love.

In 2009 Hudson met and fell in love with WWE star (and former contestant on the VH1 show I Love New York) David Otunga. The couple have a 2-year-old son together.

But just this week rumors have surfaced that the twosome is calling off their three-year engagement due to Hudson's busy work schedule, successful career, reluctance to have more children and weight loss.

Earlier this year, Hudson revealed some of Otunga's insecurities about her weight loss on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.

Hudson is usually very vocal about squashing rumors via Twitter, however there haven't been any tweets mentioning or denying her alleged split with Otunga. In addition, Hudson's rep has denied the rumors.

Here's a look at the style (and body) evolution that has helped make Hudson a superstar--but hopefully hasn't jeopardized her relationship.

She very beautiful. My question is what happen to the extra skin in her belly or the abdominal part? I would love to see her on bikini. Dont get me wrong, I love her and she's very beautiful and probably more healthy this way.

I liked her better with a little more weight on - she looked more like a real woman instead of a Hollywood skinny mini. Now she just looks like everyone else & apparently it's gone to her head!

She looks wonderful now. It seems she has acquired better taste in dresses since she lost the weight. Overweight women shouldn't wear satin; it just exaggerates the weight, and she has worn it a lot. Kudos, Jennifer. You look great! However, I till wouldn't wear satin. It's flattering to NOBODY.

I have to say, the thing that has really struck me about JH since her weight loss is that she looks so happy. She is always smiling a big beautiful smile and you can tell she feels confident and attractive. (Even though she was gorgeous before her weight loss, as well.)

Fat people just can't win in this society. You stay fat, and everybody insults you for your weight and perceived laziness/lack of will power. Now, this beautiful woman has worked hard to loss the weight in a healthy manner. But people are still kicking her by betting on how long until she is fat again. Happens to us real people to. I lost 50 pounds, and found out some "friends" where discussing how long till I pack it back on.

How about, we just be happy for her succes, and not worry about what her waist will look like next week.

Congratulations on your weight loss, its been so hard for me and I know you have more energy to do all the things you need to do in your career and with your child. People who are fat and are trying to work hard to get rid of the weight best wishes, for those of you who are fat and not trying to get your health under control you are wasting time feeling tired all the time, do something to make yourself feel better.
