Occupy Wall Street: Protesters Tell Their Stories [PHOTOS]

Protesters From All Walks Cite Greed, Corroding Safety Net As Reasons For Occupying [PHOTOS]

Since arriving at Zuccotti Park more than a month ago, the Occupy Wall Street protesters have been called a variety of things by politicians, pundits and the media.

Their concerns range from corporate influence in Washington to a corroding safety net. But one sentiment that seems to underlie their concerns is the ability of a privileged few to benefit during a time of struggle for most.

Some of the protesters travelled from as a far away as California, others from as close as Manhattan. Some plan to stay for the day, while many have been camped out for weeks. Several stationed at the park on Tuesday shared their concerns with the country and their hopes for what will come out of the occupy movement.
