Cotswolds: Fall In England's Countryside (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Fall In The Cotswolds

There are few things we like better than beautiful fall scenery.

You'll notice this if you've seen our posts on the best fall foliage destinations in America. Fall is awfully pretty around the world, including in England's luscious countryside.

The Cotswolds is an area the size of greater Tokyo but with a much different terrain (think rolling hills and greenery). Historic towns dot the landscape.

The Cotswolds got some attention this summer when Kate Moss married Jamie Hince there in the town of Southrop.

Visitors will find plenty to do, from gardens to walks to shopping in towns, some of which have been around for centuries. It's a quick jaunt from London (rail service takes roughly and hour and a half).

A visit to the Cotswolds is ideal in fall, when the weather is temperate and the foliage is in full fall swing.
