Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian Marriage In Trouble? NBA Player Reportedly Partying During NBA Lockout (VIDEO)
Aside from the heartache experienced by basketball fans and the financial impact being keenly felt by arena and team staff, the NBA Lockout might also be causing a rift between newlyweds Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian.
According to US Weekly, the New Jersey Nets forward isn't getting along with Kim, and their troubles might be exacerbated because Humphries is unemployed due to the work stoppage. A source told the magazine that the 26-year-old is partying a lot "on his wife's dime" during the lockout.
Rumors of their marriage being "doomed" began earlier this week, but the two quickly denied the reports and showed off their love for each other on Twitter.
Even if reports of their marriage's demise are greatly exaggerated, Humphries probably was not a fan of the most recent report about the couple. Apparently, before she got together with Kris, the reality television star tried to date Denver Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari, then with the New york Knicks.
Whether or not those rumors are true, Humphries might go a while before he encounters Gallinari -- or most other NBA players. NBA Commissioner David Stern has already canceled the first two weeks of the season. Last week, it looked like the NBA was set to cancel two more weeks of the 2011-12 season, including the Christmas games.
However, the recent NBA labor talks have sparked some optimism that the entire 82-game season can be saved.
In the meantime, add saving this fledgling family to the long list of positive outcomes if the lockout can be ended.
